Plant profile - Dichondra Silver Falls

Dichondra argentea ‘Silver Falls’ is a gorgeous easy to grow cascading plant which can be used in a variety of ways around your garden.

Commonly used in hanging baskets, in the correct conditions the Silver falls can cascade down for up to 2 metres producing a spectacular curtain of silver and green leaves.

This versatile plant can also be used as a ground cover as it looks fabulous planted between pavers or trailing over rock gardens. It can also be used as a cover for shaded areas, steep banks or other inaccessible areas.

Maintenance and care is minimal. To keep in a desired shape prune during spring. Ensure planted areas are well drained and a slow release fertiliser application during spring will encourage further growth.

Dichondra Silver Falls copes well in full sun and handles dry conditions, but can also handle shadier areas.
